And maybe 60% of the time you will get a correct answer.
I have stood my ground with more than one scale guy, and been proven right and him wrong. It is amazing just how LITTLE a lot of DOT, scale, and cops in general, know of the regulations that govern a CDL driver.
As my old attorney told me years ago...If the police etc knew all the laws, there would not be criminal lawyers would there?

Kind of amazed that this simple question garnered 2 pages of replies though....What do they say about asking 3 different drivers what time it is again?
