My general rule is. If the driver is backing up and there is more then enough time to get by and plenty of room. GO !

Watching anyone do 9000 pull ups. Depends on the situation.
( if they have a co-driver )let the co-driver figure out the situation and just GO when waved on!

Some of these places were not designed for trucks to park at all. (Pilot outside Charlotte, nc.)

...there are pilots and others that are worse than this. I just don't have pictures.

If you can't back up a stringing truck you have no business driving one. It's part of the job. 4 ways and tap the horn.

That place is so tiny and dirty. And the cat scale is in a crappy place. Late at night the only way to use it is to scale, leave, come back to Steele st and hit the fuel lane. The construction there isn't doing any favors either. Plus when a rookie is trying to get into a spot there when it's dark, may as well pull the brakes if you got behind them.

It amazes me that those that "are trying to help" don't know where to stand. It is not always at the back of the trailer. Many people that try to guide me in some tight construction areas think you can see them anywhere they stand. I have had to set the brakes and tell them where to stand so that they can be seen.

I've encountered that myself at a few places...

I'll get out and look and they'll exclaim, "What are you doing?? You've got plenty of room!"

    Think people...THINK!
