If you asked me if I thought of that #### 70's prog rock song every time I approached one, I'd have to say... Yes.

Although it's funny, I try to be a little more sensitive on Memorial Day!

They put one of those roundabouts on Highway 5 in BC. I haven't had many issues with trucks in the roundabout. Mainly just the yokels there that don't know how it works. Every time I go through there I see someone stop in the roundabout, yielding their right of way to someone trying to enter the roundabout.

After the fact that few can actually negotiate a roundabout correctly, is the even greater lack of signal use. whether a stop sign, traffic light, driveway, etc., people need to understand that when turning through a roundabout, one is STILL MAKING A TURN... use a #### turn signal! Of course ranting about this is futile, most people can couldn't give a rodents posterior about driving correctly to begin with.

There was a bunch of roundabouts in NJ 30 years ago... They got rid of them cause all they did was cause problems.
Wanna turn left now? Get in the right lane!!

IF it's the middle of the night I start laying on the air horn and kick the Jake on high about half a block from the roundabout, especially if it's a residential area. Lots of folks appear on their doorsteps and cheerfully wave at me as I jump the curbs.

    Nice folks.

Single lanes are easy. Some doubles are set up well and some are not truck friendly at all. Then there are the 3 lanes.

I'd like to discuss the multi lane roundabouts, but I'm too tired right now.
