you really need to drive long enough to know whether it is you or them
even with years of experience switching companies can take a couple months to fit in to how the new company does it

of course some drivers will tell you it is always them

Tell the SOB that you run the truck and the truck DOES NOT RUN YOU! Do not let them push you to run illegal If you need rest one hour or 8 GET ALL REST YOU NEED TO DRIVE SAFE.
First thing a rookie or new driver needs to know is MOST DISPATCHERS DO NOT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOU! You are the CAPTAIN of your TRUCK, Run safe,Run Legal,,Do No Harm To You Or Anyone Else.
Can't make any money of you have an accident ..If whom ever you drive for doesn't understand this then tell them to find someone else,,

My old co-driver used to tell our dispatcher whenever he made outrageous demands that she will swing by the terminal, kidnap him so he can see what we go through and what he is asking us to do.

That crazy woman had me rolling.

Oh sure, you are going to try to seduce the boss's wife!:biggrin_2559: Let us know how that works out for you!:biggrin_2552:

Just kidding. But you do have to be kind of careful.

Hi Lepton, you know, we joke, but over the years, I've heard of several times where drivers were shot due to some hanky-panky with the bosses wives. IDK, it better be pretty good to die for.

Big Don, bergy and Lepton1 Thank this.
