Hmm. I thought it was a 1350. Might have been 1300, I guess. I think I was ten years old.

That's one bike I always wanted back in my youth. Could have bought one for $1300 but I was barely scraping by.

Rode one. It just didn't have the same sound and feel as Honda's CBX (being liquid-cooled vs. air-cooled for the Honda and 100 pounds heavier had a lot to do with it). It was a pretty fast beast, but it was heavy and it just wasn't in the same class and it came at a time when there were significant improvements being made across the industry in four cylinder machines.

Allen Millyard (a bit of a mad mechanic) married two Z1300 motors together to get a 2300 V-12.

I knew of a guy who rode a Honda 750. Rode it for years. Only thing he ever did to it was change the oil and spark plug every once in a while.
He got bored with it. Wanted something to sit in the garage, drink beer, and tinker with.
    So he bought a Harley.

I only have a superficial knowledge of Sturgis. People who live and lived there tell me it's a nice little town outside of the Rally. Tonight my eyes opened up...
This is Tue. night...Wed morning actually at 1am.
The Full Throttle and two big bars in town. I noticed only one car outside each of them. Rationalize that was the bartenders car.
Does seem to be a nice little town.
