Was thinking of giving Schneider a shot as an OO. I know the load boards were crap a year or so ago, have they improved for OO?
How are the load boards these days?

If anyone says yes it will be the first person to say so all the years I’ve been on here. The whole time it’s been a really bad time to be an o/o.

Pre 2015 there were a lot of "yeah, the waters fine, come on in" posts. Then again in 2018. Then 2019 sucked, 2020 and 2021 was great, then not so much after that.JOHNQPUBLIC and skierbri10 Thank this.

I'd like to see how these tariffs pan out. However most statistics month over month says dry van loads on average increased to an average in January to $2.18 per mile. I'm not saying that's great but now and then you can luck out with a $3.65 per mile load. Its all about your budgets & margins.

Don't know about Schneider, but I've seen some good rates ($3+/mile) on DAT, IF you don't mind doing 3-5 stops in a 200 mile radius over 2 days.

I routinely see job ads for Schneider tanker drivers -- in Alabama, Louisiana....& even in Florida's "panhandle" area.
Thus -- do Schneider's load boards show rates that are any better/more promising for their tanker freight (hazmat, or not)?
