    It's been rough the past 6 months. We are aveaging around $1.60 per mile. The only thing saving our bacon is that all of our equipment is paid for.

    One thing to add is you have to account for every mile not just loaded miles. Every mile cost money and wear and tear on your equiptment. Alot of people will say they make so much a mile but most do by loaded mile and forget the deadhead miles. just my 2 cents.
