How bad does the tractor have to be that they're willing to sell it for $2900?

I bought one a few years back for $2000 because the tires had 300 miles on them. By the time i got done with it, I made $14k from the parts.

Wise man. Unicorns are mythical because they don't exist.

    Good luck, OP.

I'm not interested personally, but I'd spread the word if anyone's interested. It's a business across the street from my place (that I may or may not have spent the night at on occasion.) usually when I take my truck "home" it's in a lot about a mile hike away. So I saw it on the walk home last night and on the way in I figured I'd take a picture if anyone can make out more details.

Unfortunately, it's predawn so it's kind of dark.

No way is it roadworthy but if you are looking for a project and have the time and money to put into it, sure.

That will be worth something when you are done with it at least.

Yeah, I just realized. I thought it was an even older one they had but it's not. They have an International they use with stacked quad headlights. Probably dates back to mid-early 80's.

    Annnnd it's gone.

    I'm sure it wasn't roadworthy.
    At least not legally.

But even as scrap I thought the price was a bit low.

Looks like it got in and out of where it was sitting under it's own power. So maybe someone got a deal in scrap & parts.

At 2900.00 it was worth it. Especially if it started and moved.

Not saying I would have put it on the road.
