“No Ticket Masking: Federal law prohibits states from "masking" or hiding conviction records of CDL holders who attend traffic school to avoid points or penalties.”
How bad is 2 points on your MVR record?

Even if its technically non moving violation for obstructed view?
-
I already got it reduced to 2 points from 3 points.
-
I wouldn’t worry about it.
Albertaflatbed Thanks this. -
I just got this now from the traffic lawyer:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The accident is something I don’t deal with.
The 2 pts remain for 1 year in Wisconsin. If you wish to do the in person course in Wisconsin you can to get the two points back but it doesn’t change the ticket. -
You may need to check on your facts: This is what the traffic lawyer said just now.
And the ticket is just "Obstructed View" technically non-moving violation. Go google it.
Obstructed view or control is generally considered a non-moving violation or a "fix-it" ticket, as it relates to vehicle equipment or loading rather than dangerous driving behavior.

The best thing you can do is stay where you are for another year or two and the points won’t be there.

I wouldn't wish points on my worst enemy. MVR points can break a driver. I'd stay put for a while, but you might not need to.

Please reread my first reply..your answer is in there.
“Federal law mandate that, all traffic violations received by holders of a Commercial Drivers License, with the exception of a parking ticket, must be reported to the State Department of Safety, without exception.” -
Source? How do I do that? It's already the lawyer saying I can have the points reduced to zero by attending a course. It is also a non-moving violation.
You must be confusing this. This is for those who got the ticket out of state. I got the ticket within the state i have the CDL. So why should I report to the state???
