I found out along time ago you will only make the money they allow you to make. Too many variables that are out of the drivers control. As Spyder stated they are a good starter company. However, there are some drivers that have been around for many years.

Well that may be why people hate TMC. It could also be that TMC is cutting their rates. When I was pulling flatbed three things that made me cringe were seeing a TMC, Maverick, or Boyd Bros. pull in when you had never seen one there before.

Early 2000's. I was getting freight from an easy shipper that had overflow from their in house trucks every day. TMC came in and offered a 15% chop right off the top in exchange for them being given all the overflow work. So you know what happened. It wasn't nearly enough money to run those big shiny trucks on either. So there is where at least a little of your dislike comes from. It has nothing to do with jealousy.

Tmc if you want to learn open deck, superior if you want to pull tanks. If that's the same ct flat company I'm familiar with down in the south east. i'd avoid them. They aren't swift bad, but #### near.

Of the 3, tmc would get my vote. But I'm biased towards open deck trucking.

If you want some additional reviews of TMC, you might want to check out Indeed and Glassdoor. They have overall good marks on those sites (better than a lot of companies), though there are some negative reviews too.

The ones I read seem informative.

I'm leaning more towards tankers .. I'm exiting the military so it kinda forces me to go to whoever will take me right now to keep the bills from piling up
