How can I help verify driving history?

I don't think all Pepsi CDL drivers use Logs. The point is valid though. There should be time records AND a job description. If this were me I would go to the plant and attempt to get at least a printout of the time records and to get HR or the appropriate person to give me a Job description!

 

Pepsi won't give him anything. They probably snicker with glee that they have so much power of him and his immediate future.

 

Check with Magnum Ltd. They pay $14.00 an hour, 40 hrs. a week, while going through their training program.
It's a good company and drivers post on here the paychecks are really good.

Magnum has an excellent program for driving school graduates and drivers with a CDL but less than 1 year of OTR experience. As a trainee, you will drive with a Magnum qualified trainer, pulling actual loads and earning trainee pay. Several drivers on here can probably give you some good leads.

 

There's a few companies that will hire you. Don't know for sure about beginning pay, but probably better than being unemployed. All these have programs for drivers with a cdl and no experience or very little experience.

May or may not be true, still I think the primary problem is Pepsi like most Soda Pop companies, Bread delivery people, and other outfits that do DSD are so spread out most of the time the actual people might be hundreds of miles away. There is a small now out of business cookie and snack company I used to know of. It was almost impossible to get employee information from their home office. I don't think it is so much callous disregard on Pepsi as it is logistically difficult. This can be overcome, just got to get in touch with the right people. During the workday most supervisors are out!
