The new FLS will shut down after 10 hours idle. And will require Regen. I think it was 5 hours for second round.

RD gets plugged in if its gonna be -10*C or below, the granite never got plugged in, but would start (very angrily) down to -30
the feed mill i worked at would run the trucks all night after they were loaded if the forecast was -25*C or colderOxbow Thanks this. -
I know my #### Volvo won’t start Tuesday. I’ve been running my old day cab and it’s been sitting a week. It’s plugged in but I would bet 20 bucks it’s gonna take 2 cans of ether.
All my trucks start angry when it’s below 0.j_martell Thanks this. -
before the in frame on the RD, it took up to 3 guys 15 mins to get that ##### to light below -10*C
......and the EPA would be DISGUSTED at the amount of smoke that little 11 litre could make when it did light off -
I must just be lucky. My truck sits outside every night. I treat my fuel with half a litre to each tank 135 us gallons if it below -20 celsius at night. I generally don't do it till Christmas. Last year l hardly did it at all. My block heater's on a timer so it's on for 3-4 hours before l start it. Starrs up easy and quiet that way. Water temp is at 150 after a 1/2 hour idling at 900. I do cheat and turn the bunk heater on when l fire it up. Old Pete is getting drafty in its old age
