I wouldn't shoot ether in an EGR equipped motor
-
I wouldn't use either in general
-
I bet your tune would change if you get the choice to either freeze in the truck for 2 hours minimum waiting for a jump, or spray some ether and git r done. at least a engine without a grid heater.Truckergirl0720 Thanks this.

Mine didn't start today. Plugged in but it was -28.

Wow plugged mine in for three weeks temp dipped under 0 for a while wzs 15 i yhink when i cramked her started on first try right away 1.5 mil on engine 6 months on interstate battery
-
Better to give it a little ether than to run the batteries down or keep grinding on the starter.Truckergirl0720 and truckon Thank this.

Um, My batts are great. Whats wrong with running them down? They charge right back up as soon as it starts. My S60 started just fine in the cold.
-
I leave my bunk heater fired up so I wont freeze. If it is on, regardless of temp the pilot stays lit.....I also do proper maintenance on my truck and only run with tip top batts. They are capable of 4000 CCA and have the deep cycle capacity to keep spitting out that power for 10 min strait. When my batts stop putting out at least 3500 CCA they will be replaced. (for all 4)

You obviously didn't read some of the other post's again, sometimes they don't fire in a second like your's does.
If they don't then I would rather give them a little shot than maybe run them down & not get it started.Truckergirl0720 Thanks this.
