Several years ago I was talking to my Primary Care Doctor. I asked her a question about listing all the human body parts that diabetes can damage. She always stood when entering information on the computer. This day she pulled up a chair and sat down close to me. Mike, think about it this way! Your blood supplies all the fuel to your body parts. Your general health depends on that blood being as close to normal as it can be. She made her point, got back up, and told me what meds she was renewing that day.
My Primary Care Doctor does not manage my diabetes. I am under the care of an Endocrinologist as well as a Neurologist because I am also an epileptic.
