I got stopped and checked friday a week ago for a level 1 no violations. Then got picked again this week. It was the same trooper?!? I rolled down my window said Hey you just checked me last friday up in Burgettstown He looked at me and the truck and said oh yeah I remember have a nice day. That was in Lone Pine about 30 miles away. There were 3 officers in Burgettstown and about 6 at Lone Pine and I get stopped by the same guy twice. He either loves or hates green trucks. Its been over 3 years since my last DOT insp I hope I get to go atleast 6 years now.

Sounds like most drivers had a painless week......good deal!

Other than my medical card having the wrong expiration date i had 2 clean inspections.
Maybe it will bring the safety rating up a bit for the company.

Here in Florida seemed like most scales were locked up:biggrin_25518:.Georgia was checking a little, South Carolina also.
Overall I think it was quieter than usual at the chicken houses. Not sure why.:biggrin_25513:

That's pretty much what I saw. I got weighed in AL, MS, GA, TN but didn't even get looked at otherwise.

I hear ya lol. I lost my last sticker when I had windshield replaced. Last time I got inspected my trailer ABS was acting weird it was flashing rapidly for a couple of seconds. Neither the DOT cop nor myself knew what it meant, but that didnt stop him from writing it up:biggrin_25512:.

This time it was trailer tires that arent a year old. I had ran over a piece of steel on the highway a while back, that cut an air line to the brake pods. Flat spotted two of the brand new tires. So I separated them, onto different axles. In-turn that amplified the problem, and started accelerating the wear on the other two "good" tires. Crappola rolls down hill I guess. I should have just bit the bullet and purchased two new tires. That would have probably saved me from having to buy 4 new ones now, and getting the violation!!!

Oh well, such is life and its only money RIGHT!

Yea. Lone Pine was jamming when I went past. Burgettstown has been doing alot of inspections lately(past 1.5yrs) I never saw it for myself and I came thru there quite often. My buddy got nailed there once.
