Spend $2 every Tuesday and Friday on a Power Ball ticket. Just skip one Latte' on those days and you won't be out anymore money.
You have about the same chance of getting rich that way as getting rich being an O/O.

It is not so, unless your company has history of flipped trucks and your insurance is 4X of what it would be without bad record

Wanted to add, a small front wheel drive works fine with winters. And it seats 2 adults and 3 kids. I owned one for years when i lived in northern ohio, and the ice we got up by Cleveland is just as bad as it gets anywhere. A 4 wheel drive truck isn't a need. It's a want.

I was terminated for a disorderly behavior at the workplace. I was an IT guy. I could not find another job, so I went to CDL school for which I paid $2500 in 2002 and started at Werner, which I quit soon after as their pay was ridiculous. The office job was making me mentally ill. The Trucking cured me, thus saved me from fees I'd have to pay to a shrink. I think, now 15 years later, married and kids and house and all the American dream staff in play. First and foremost, I am mentally stable, so the moral of the story is if you are cuckoo try trucking, not a shrink. LOL

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but back in the horse & buggy days a lot of owner operators got their start by buying a truck that came with a job. So with just a little experience, good credit and a few bucks in savings you too could become an owner operator. That was a great way to get started
