Proper programming. Sounds like modules are not communicating properly. That's all I can really tell you. If things worked properly before, then they obviously changed programming incorrectly or messed up settings they shouldn't have changed. We don't do deletes or custom programming, so I can't even guess as to what happened here.

Don't ask how, but I happen to know about these "procedures" If whoever did your delete screwed up that part of it, I hate to see what is going to happen with your engine in the near future....

Does this system ACTIVELY apply the brakes, or just kill the cruise?

Onguard applies the breaks , kills the cruise and also kill power to the truck.
Literally no throttle for a few seconds. Personally experienced it.

Thanks... Just got a new safety guy with zero driving experience... Just want to be informed in case he gets the idea to try and get the company to start getting this system on the new trucks. I will never drive a truck with this system... I drive I80 through WY and other places with nasty slick roads way too often to be putting my life on the line with a system like this.

Yep incredibly unsafe in the winter time. System can't distinguish between dry, wet , icy ect.

I had a car pull out in front of me from a backed up exit lane. Thankfully I was already moving slow , 32 degrees wet , and waiting for someone to do just that.

They didn't break in front of me but obviously lifted on the throttle.
The system felt the gap was closing to quick and applied breaks hard.
Had the roads not been treated as well as they were I would of been done for, lol.

Did you go throw a fit with the safety department? I sure as hell would have... Id probably have turned that #### truck back for the yard and walked in and dropped the keys and fuel card on the big bosses desk!

Well at least you got it shut off. That's the next best thing.
