I believe, the CSA score went into effect some time in 2011 and it is supposed to reflect how well you did on your DOT inspections for the last 24 months or so. I twice paid 5$ on FMCSA website (first a 4 years back , second about 2) and all I got was a record of my scale and roadside inspections without any score value. Needless to say, twice did I feel ridiculed by FMCSA website - shame on them. So my question is this: Is there actually an individual score available, if so where do I get it? Or perhaps, I should take all the inspections and assign some weights to my infractions/citations/violations/warnings and thus calculate the score myself? Also what's considered a good or bad CSA score? Can I compare it to some statistics? It would be a very useful info for me.
Thank you.
How Do I check my CSA score?

Google "PSP driver". Will cost you about $15 roughly.
TallJoe Thanks this. -
Or are you an owner operater wanting a carrier score? If so disregard the PSP thing.

o/o having been rejected by a North land cargo insurance for not having satisfactory record...(?) They would not tell me what record and what exactly they did not like. Maybe my CSA i thought? But still, most of my scale inspections are crystal clean.

I imagine that in the case of an independent owner operater, an insurance underwriter might look hard at both your PSP and CSA scores which will reflect different information.
