I applied via email a month ago and still no reply from the DMV. i called multiple times and finally someone answered in the morning i told them the situation. i updated my pdf the way they wanted my to and now im playing the waiting game no reply or any idea when they will process my ifta. is there a more pragmatic way to apply for ifta because i cant imagine waiting for months for it and being profitable
how do i get my ifta in VA?

Go to the VA IFTA office and speak to them face to face or blow their phone up and send many emails. If you're passive, they'll take their time.

where is the VA IFTA office located? im looking it up cant find nada as if they are doing this on purpose

find a DMV office online;
Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles
enter a city -
It’s not at your local dmv. In Jersey we have one ifta office for the entire state & it’s in Trenton.
i would imagine Virginia’s would be in Richmond.ProfessionalNoticer Thanks this. -
Since everything on Google and the VA DMV website says they handle ifta. You might be mistaken.Numb and GreenPete359 Thank this.

Yeah i googled it after i made that post to try & find it for the guy. Couldn’t even find an addy for the main one. My best guess is call them up and ask or just plain head on down to the local dmv. Seems like they prefer to handle ifta threw their website vs. in person.Wasted Thyme Thanks this. -
IFTA office is usually wherever the IRP office is that's usually at the State's headquarters. In VA, that's Richmond.

Different states handle it differently. In Mississippi, it's the Department of Revenue aka State Tax Office. There are regional offices throughout the state. Normal DMV license locations don't handle it. That being said, the local offices know where to send you.
