Midroof with a 53ft trailer, that's going to be heavy. My t-600 with the 48 flat scaled 29 something and my t800 with 48 dropdeck scaled not much over 30.
How do people scale 48,000lbs on a step deck?

Isn't the drop miser the lightweight one?

Sometimes there is. for example, I was just telling this to my neighbor. 3 weeks ago I pulled 9 loads. last week I pulled 9 loads. they all loaded from same place & unloaded at same place. dedicated. the difference in pay was $600.00 for 4 day's. the 9 I took 3 weeks ago all weighed 47,000 49,000 lbs, though the loads last week were all 40,000- 42,000. so basically the same work, time,& mileage, but the heavier load week paid $600.00 more. times that by 4 & that's $2400 more per month if ya had the choice on every load.

95 ken t600 with 48 x 96 full of fuel puts me about 31,360.
the majority of my loads push that 48,000 button. and usually are arse heavy,. -
If it's being billed by the hundred weight then it pays more but overall the heavy stuff, ie, lumber, drywall, steel, etc. doesn't pay, there's too much competition.

Whats tlr weigh and It looks like you got a condo. Rembemer The spare bunk and seat you got in there weigh a few 100 lbs. Boyd took all the extras out to get it under 28-30000 with dvr a gear. I had 07 Columbia midroof company had 10000 and 11000lb 48 flats I had to deck 50,000 but could go up to 52500

I make a pretty good living hauling steel, you just got to know how to do it. As for the competition, what part of trucking doesn't have it?
