i think we can discuss both.

Negative is such a negative word, it may be correct, but it makes me feel sad. "-19" is correct, yet minus 19 and dash 19 or incorrect too.
Plus minus 19 could be confused as Celsius, which only dorks know about.

so from now on I'll only post temperatures using the Kelvin scale.

I go up to Canada, so I (unfortunately) have to pretend to care/know what Celsius is

and if you want to use Kelvin that's fine! -459 is Absolute zero

if it becomes 0K then we have bigger problems than "my fuel gelled up what do I do?"

the term is "negative' because if you have -$145 in the bank that's a negative thing.

and also if 0 is the absence of value then any number less than 0 is a negative thing, hence the term "negative number"

With 2 yrs exp why don't you know this stuff?Does'nt Swift teach anything? In the freezing cold you always use a fuel additive.Directions are on the lable how much and when to add it to your tank.Power Serve is a good additive.

...I never worked for Swift, I worked for Central. Got fired August 2013 before they took Swifts name

And no, nobody mentioned putting in additives, I spent Winter 2012\2013 in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, so I have cold weather experience, never ran into gelling fuel. I did have a near zero idle percentage during my time

This is my favorite method also. Sometimes I just pretend to gel up! Nothing better than a big girl on a cold night!!!
