Greetings all! Dumb question here! How do you carry your DOT physical?

I bought a larger bifold wallet to carry it for school, but it’s getting beat to hell, as it’s just a piece of paper!

    Ideas?

Don't keep a wallet in you back pocket while driving. It forces the spine into a curve and eventually causes severe back pain.

I keep a folder in the truck with all the necessary documents in one place.

    Never thought of it.

The card probably was examined two times by DOT in my lifetime. Otherwise it just rides in the chain drive wallet. Had them as a teen and still do today, don't know any different.

But the trucking paperwork goes into the briefcase in the bunk, otherwise scattered all over the dash until collected and tossed into briefcase for later processing.

That’s the first thing my chiropractor said to me when we first met.

You don't need to take your DOT physical any longer. Well, not if you are running CDL required loads.

As for what I used, was just a fanfold folder and split each trip in it's own pocket. That way when i got paid, I verified it was correct and mover the trip in another folder to take home and file. I had my current trip simply on a clipboard on the passenger seat.
