Used to scan mine, then use the computer to shrink it down to a little smaller than a credit card. Then laminate it and it would be about the same size as my drivers license.

That's what we've done. It was a hard fight to get there, but it's well worth it!! Congrats!!!

The key there is to plan for the unexpected and keep enough cash on hand to cover it, with enough disciple to leave it alone. When something breaks and you start looking at tapping into the reserve funds, it makes you reconsider your options before tapping your resources. You might be surprised what you come up with to avoid dwindling the cash stash!

Credit is arguably non-essential (outside of a purchasing a home). It's way too easy to get hung up between the "need" and "want" argument of a decision. "Sign here ___________" "Swipe your card...." Nope, too easy to slide down that slope. Been there and had to climb my way back up. No, thanks.

As a side note, my work actually requires a credit rating (high risk security sites), so I have one credit card, buy an item or two a month and pay the bill when the statement comes. That's enough to keep everyone happy.

How'd we get from paperwork to debt?? When I drive, I have a three ring notebook that everything is in. All of the docs are in sheet protectors, separated with tabs and that rides in the door pocket.

I was unaware of the medical not needing to be carried... thank ya'll for that bit of wisdom!

Keeps everything dry in the rain, organized where you need it, fits mos truck door pockets (Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, Volvo and Freightliner from my experience) and it looks professional. I'm still on my first one from two years ago.

Edit: I read the title and not the OP. But this would work just the same. Get a page protector and just slide it right in.

In Kentucky 30 days after you add it through their documentation site it’s added to your license so when DOT runs your OLN it populates on their MDT
