I like that Steve Warner song, "life's Hiway" I run that way. It's a wonderful way to travel. so much to learn, so many places most people wont ever see. L. A. Docks, Bangor, Maine. Strip club in Portland Oregon. Brand new oranges in Edinburg, Tx. Lighthouse in Fla. Ghost likes Cowboys & Cowgirls. Don't
like city folk much from what I hear. Likes a free spirit, running on the edge, just outside the norm. I got three more gears if I need them. I'm a Trucker.

I think Trucking is exempt from false advertising laws so just depends on how the company wants to define it that week. Mostly a ploy to get homeboys 1,000 of miles from home and say. Nope we don't have no loads down yonder. But we do Got this load to 10 buck 2 and it needs to be there yesterday. Hey we will see if we can't find you a load home from there. Then he gets off the phone and start high fiveing the other dispatchers. I told you that sucker would take that load :)

If I'm shacked up with one of my El Paso honeys every 168 hours then I consider that home weekly.

There are many companies that do not operate 7 days a week. Many warehouses are closed Saturday and Sunday. Trucking companies that pull out of those will give you a weekend off. I would get home on Friday night and then leave out sometime on Sunday. It was up to me and my partner as to when we left because we had to be in Houston by 6 AM but the manager of the Houston warehouse would meet us there anytime on Monday morning before that.
