My Government implemented speed limiters on trucks to 60mph until manufacturers did. Then put in speed cameras that photo you at a given point, and at the end of another. If you are under a prescribed time than you are deemed to have been speeding so fined accordingly. There they have random speed cameras, often hidden but once found I imagine get around the two way pretty quickly. And the same for ol random cop hiding in the bush as well.
I'm not interstate so can't comment on how these guys get around it, but its not uncommon to be passed by a spanking new KW b double doing 70+ as the sun goes down.
How do you disable the speedometer on a paccar 2016?

As far as IFTA and odometer miles, can't the IFTA reports be created via GPS output? We do ours off of odometer miles, but it really doesn't matter if you are consistently off on miles a bit because the indicated fuel mileage will then be off by the same percentage, and the tax paid will be the same.RJM1953 Thanks this. -
Pete's were easy, the city horn and the throttle wire ran next to each other. Unplug city horn and run a needle through the wires. Want more speed, hit the horn button. -

But officer you can’t give me a ticket my speedometer shows me going 55.
I'm sure that one hasn’t been used yet. Hell could be an automatic oos until fixed ticket too. -

I traveled back and forth through Nevada in those days just listening to the bird dog. Lol Nevada's heart really wasn't into the enforcement. Instead of a speeding ticket the would issue a "waste of natural resource" ticket. Pay $20 (or some small fee) on the spot, no points against license.
Those were good pre-CDL days!
