BUT, BUT, BUT drivers are a “DIME A DOZEN”. Use to be what I heard back in late 80’s and up until a few years ago.
Good drivers are gold steering wheel holders. Yep 2 dozen for a dime.
How do you find drivers?

Finding drivers is difficult because there is a shortage of truckers.

I know an old guy in Florida who’s looking but he’s a picky miserable old guyDale thompson, scoobertdoo and Lonesome Thank this. -
You have to make your particular job more attractive than the next guy's.
What are you paying? What am I driving? Flatbed, dry box, reefer, tank? Bennies? 1099, or on a W2? I want all my pay on one system, be it mileage, percentage, or salary. I don't want pay that's tied to bonuses, or such. I want decent hometime, not just a 34 on weekends. Forward camera is good, driver facing, not as much.
Give us some more information on what you offer.Speed_Drums and reeferwrencher Thank this. -
What ads should look like.
Drivers wanted $40/ to start, $1 year raise, OT after 8 hours. Home weekends, and most evenings, 4 weeks vacation per year, goes up an extra week every 5 years on the job. If you require training on lowboy, tanker, belly dump, gravel truck, highboy, logging, we do it here, while you get paid, we don't send you to some lame ### third party school, in some God forsaken town you're guaranteed to hate. If interested, bring your resume and drivers abstract to _______________________ Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm.ProfessionalNoticer, homeskillet and reeferwrencher Thank this. -
