How do you get a CB "handle"? And CB slang questions

I believe Amazon is now selling CB handles. They do, however, suggest you actually have a CB, and actually turn it on for at least 5 minutes a day.

Tried to tell a guy his brakes were on fire a couple of weeks ago, but no joy, passed him on the side of the road a few miles later, NOW the whole trailer was on fire. Oh well.

Yes, yes to Turbo-T you must listen. I was part of the CB craze that swept the nation in the 70's long before the FCC relaxed its restrictions. I had a call letters that I applied for, but rarely used it. Make up a name that means something to ya and use it. I had about 2 or 3 I used depending on what part of the country I was driving in.

 

My CB handle was given to me for free by another driver when I was first getting started!
