Just remember to log on your home base time. Its the rules. And show up at local times for appointments. Go from western to mountain time frequently and have to remember they're an hour different or you'll be an hour late and have to deal with the " Drill Sargeants at Costco"
How do you handle time zones?Seems confusing

No mention of GPS's yet.
They are really nice because they give the ETA in the delivery time zone.
One less thing to strain your brain over.bergy and Skunk_Truck_2590 Thank this. -
I was also going to say that my GPS will display home yard time, local time, remaining time to appt, or estimated time of arrival in local time. Or something like those.
GPS devices are great providers of information. But use it like a tool and know how to do it without the tools, for when it stops working and the manufacturer says, "yes it is under warranty. Send it in and we will send you a refurbished within 6 weeks." !!!!!!!!!!!!!

No point in confusing yourself just always use your terminal time zone
-
I always found it was just easier to remain confused and not worry about it....lol.

Going west you should log the time zone you're in. That way you gain an hour of driving every time you enter a new time zone. Going east just log your home terminal time zone. No sense in jipping yourself out of an hour.

Oh right, by the way... cops can use your logs against you for more than just DOT violations, they're also proof of your rate of travel (primarily if you are logging too little time to legally drive from point A to point B on paper logs, you are either falsifying your logs or speeding - on e-logs, it's proof of speeding.) -
