Any type of lunch cooler will work. Just fill up two water bottles and freeze them overnight then use that as your ice for your cooler. Plus as it melts you have perfectly cold ice water for your ride home.

I use a larger 62 qt ice chest but im out 5 days at a time before going home, I fill up a couple gallon water bottles and throw them in my chest freezer, those with a bag of ice normally help my cooler stay iced for a couple extra days, if I went home more often I would do more bottles and never buy the ice.

those coolers dont work well, when you get sick because your truck got to 100 degrees and cooled your food for the past few hours at 60 degrees.....

Been using mine for 5 years no problems yet. Run the air conditioner if it's that hot out bud. Keep it at least 80 in the truck and your food stays 40. Upgrade the fans like I did and my food freezes a lot. I gotta be careful.

I got a small cooler I carry to work every day and not a hassle at all. I used to freeze water in plastic bottles till my wife "made" me stop. Now I just fill up two or three metal water bottles every day with ice cubes and water and I'm all set. Been working good that way for 20+ years now.

Be thankful that you have the option to idle, regardless of whether your sleeping :yes2557:

you work for a company that does not allow it at all? I believe there are laws for some weather that permits it no matter what...

I think our idle limit is 30% for summer and 20% for winter, I was less than 10% for last summer but I spent a lot of time in Or/WA/Co areas.
