That's the one I was trying for!
Not sure why, but my pics always get "lost" somewhere between finding and posting.
I know why.....I'm a tech idiot.Sirscrapntruckalot Thanks this. -
Nothing new to suggest; but, a question.
When this guy is out and about, is he jovial, lethargic, talkative, silent, crying, suicidal - what?
I can't seem to get a feel here for what he's about? Just sleeps?
I find everybody has a hot button topic; something that they light up about.
What does he talk about?
What was his previous Job?
Hobbies?
Hot wife?
I'd chat him up and find what he's interested in.
You gotta be passionate about something or it's all meaningless.
If it's nothing - you are wasting your time.
And I like to crack all the peanuts in the bag; but those singles w/thick skin I just toss.Sirscrapntruckalot Thanks this. -
Id sit them. 2-3 days... I do all the driving let them think about it.... Either your all in or your all out. None this 1/2 ### only drive when i feel like it. They get a time limit at the truck stos 15 minutes unleee its a 30 brake . Fisrt time they get a warning. 2nd time i take truck to a different truck stop for 2 hours Than i come back. Tell them next time i wont come back. Let that sink in..
tscottme, spindrift, homeskillet and 1 other person Thank this. -
It is a waste of time and energy to attempt to cojole and harrangue such a person into acting in their own financial interest.
This person is using strategy to get thru life doing the bare minimum. If I were the trainer I would set the expectations for performance and as soon as the trainee refused thru their actions to comply and cooperate with the team I would drop them off at the terminal. -
Nothing will work if the goal is to force him to do his job because even if it "works" the expenditure of energy is too great over time. It quickly becomes a war of attrition where it is easier for other people to just do everything for him.
It is literally impossible to convince another person to accept a different reality than the one they are currently inhabiting.misterG Thanks this. -
