Please use abbreviations like thx for thanks and so on. Problem with Qualcomm for companies is that Qualcomm charges a premium for each letter sent. So being correct with correct grammatical sentence structure is school correct, it is a financial burden to the company. The "macros" listed above are to cover the companies tail. Not all companies use macros to the extent of arrival and leaving shipper. Yet some companies thrive on it. Everyone is different.

Bwahahahaha..."Housemate"...New here, not new to the industry. 1.How bout stop saying "housemate" & you might be taken seriously. 2. If "housemate" is telling you to take care of part of the business end of things like log & QC, and "housemate" is actually serious, you need to NOT be in that truck! If "housemate" is THAT careless to let a nobody with no experience just take a stab at his log, where else is short-cutting? You wanna be in trucking so bad, get a license & team drive with him.

100% agree. She also posted asking for help about which way to slide the tandems to get the weight right (among other things) because he apparently doesn't know that either. The guy needs to go out with a trainer to show him all of this stuff that he should have been taught when he got his CDL.

To the OP, please reconsider your choice of riding along with him until he gets a grasp of how to safely operate the truck. It's not safe for you, or him if he doesn't understand the basics. Riders are more of a distraction than anything else, even if they are there to help out.
