102 wide 53 ft cattle pott. Prices are all over for comparable buggies from mid thirties to 20. Few will have the foldable jail, and folding front. And the California door on the curbside. Realistically I think it's worth 27 to 29 but I can't replace it for that

Thanks. What did you pay? I don't know anything about cattle pots but it seems like there's alot more aluminum on them than a step deck. $60,000?

10 years ago it was right at 50 with lots of negotiation at Curtslinger in Kentucky. That was with the extras. I priced a new Barrett not long ago I think I will wait and see how the elogs work for me. They are like a bass boat once you buy it you are married to it less you get lucky.

$50K 10 yrs ago and $28K today. That's a little more depreciation than I would have figured on but still not bad. We bought a new 53 Wilson combo step deck in 2008 for $43K landed.....with two nice tool boxes. I saw a bunch of worn out ones FS in the truck paper in 2012 for $35K....with worn out rubber and no tool boxes and I had to get it moved 1500 miles. It's hard to go wrong so we bought another new one in in 2012.

Well with a new one you know who and how it's been abused or loved. Used you never know, I view my buggy just as important as the truck. They are a matched pair one without the other is no income. I have pulled others trailers but drop and hook I hate never know if your getting a diamond or a lump of coal.
