I watch what I eat and have 50 pound weights in the truck, doesn't really help when you sit most of the day.

150# at 5'-8". Id' rather have the extra height for leverage than the extra weight. I've found it's more 'how' you do things rather than just brute force. Being smaller also makes it easier scaling up 14' loads. :)

Being heavy makes it hurt more when you fall off your trailer!

Us "fluffy" people don't fall off our trailers very often. Our weight prevents us from even getting up there, most of the time!

145lbs here, gives me more room in my permits for fuel.
Never had a problem getting the load tight enough with 1/2" chains and ratchet binders.

"Nasty attitude"? Why is that nasty? I simply do not see how being overweight can ever be an advantage. If people need to legitimize a dangerous and destructive lifestyle by claiming its convenient to be able to strap a load with less effort then they obviously are ignoring the destructive side of it. If you are 350 pounds and 5'9" BUT you are really trying to lose weight then I applaud you and hope for the sake of your family and the motoring public that you succeed in getting to a healthy weight. BUT if you claim that being obese has less downside risk than the upside advantages I must say that is an irresponsible and ignorant attitude to have.
