so, you ran 3000 and made 1110.00, I ran 6000 as a team and made 1260.00, yet you made more then me or same, hmmmm. big miss understanding, you dont split the miles, pay is to the tk, so if trk runs 5500 miles, you would get paid .21 x 5500 = 1155.00 and so would your partner depending if they had = experiance. I run team, do very little sitting, run with the way things are right now about 5000 avg wk, and still make more then most, not all, but most solos. Right no team miles are picking back up more so then solo miles, and right now when the economy is bad like it is, teams are gold to companies, they get miles a frieght over the solos, its just plain money smart for them, and me. As for running team, just spread the word in school, when calling and applyng to companies let them know you want to run team, and talk to your trainner as well, they may know a former sudent that they remember is looking to run team as well, and thinks you two may get alng. also, in i think its trucking jobs, there is another post on this, where I gave ome really good tips and info to another ddrive asking about teams. good luck

most of the larger companies want team drivers. they take ur personality info and try to match u up.

the thing about team driving is the truck should never stop for extended periods of time. so u have to get used to someone else driving while u sleep.

a lot of customers want there freight across country sooner than a solo driver can do it cas they don't have to stop for 10+ hours or so.
