Call them up and ask. OTR is not paid hourly usually. (The 1934 fair labor act exempts trucking from overtime specifically) it's usually paid mileage.
Most of the people I've worked for was %of the gross with accessories,of course %of the gross was after expenses which were usually 20-25%.I don't think many companies pay that way anymore,they seem to make more money CPM.I hate to be cynical,but 800 to1000 a week doesn't seem to be much for 120hr. week.
Not much different than trucks governed at 65MPH doing <3,400 miles at best on HOS at $0.24-$0.48 CPM(<$1,638.00/week) If you don't like it someone with a 98 IQ can be in a automatic cascadia tomorrow morning replacing you..
Not that speeding should be encouraged,but not being able to keep up with traffic would not only drive me nuts, but it would make me wonder how long is it going to be before someone that isn't governed is going to run into me.I mean even"the 4 wheelers in training"are driving 70-80mph.
