How does this industry expect to get a 23yr driver to drive OTR

I went both ways with it:
23yo - you should be out of the nest and off the tit, able to do a job consistently & reliably as a means to support yourself.
23 years experience: Unless you love OTR, you shouldn't be doing OTR. If you do love it, after 23 years, you've probably found your best-fit company which offers up competitive, if not GREAT pay, plus a slew of bennies and off time.
But with the way it's worded *shrug*.

At 16 one should be done with video games . At 17 one should have decided what career path will be taken. At 18 and after graduation this plan should be in

You cant start at the top. I started driving a truck when I was 19 doing local work and was making $8.00 an hr driving a small box truck. I had my cdl permit. I didnt make a good living until 5 years into it. The problem is 22 year olds want to start at the top with no experience
