How does this program stack up against the rest?

    Umm, never driven a big rig anyplace. FWIW, I have lived in Alaska for 38 years and have about 1 million miles driving experience in passenger vehicles, half of that is winter driving conditions ( the roads here are ice/snow covered 6 months of the years and toss in freezing rain for good measure half a dozen times a winter).

    This is about the only thing I really see that may put you a step up mainly the skid pad training (aka skid control and recovery). But the are companies that offer it themselves. But then again you are in Alaska so not sure what company choices you have there.
