Why won't they inflate your tire if it's less than 80% of capacity?

A underinflated tire could have hidden damage which could cause said tire to blow up during inflation.
I tried tire pass once.Cost me an hour and 20 minutes due to malfunction.

Is it $10 per time you use it?

I use it all the time. It takes two credits. 1 for the truck and 1 for the trailer.
After they register your truck and trailer, they put a bar code scanner on each. That way the next time you come in, they automatically know what pressures and all to go with.
They also do a digital measurement of the tires, and when you're all done, they will print a report for you that shows what each tire started at, where it ended at, the tread depth of each tire, and the over all condition.
I do a fair amount of drop and hook, and every time I get another trailer I try and run it through the tire pass. They have to do a new bar code on the trailer I pick up, but it is well worth the four or five extra minutes to fuel.

They still have to work out the moisture problem. They tend to freeze up still. Also the blue tooth handheld keeps crashing at a few locations I've been to.

I fill up exclusively at loves. Currently have 6 credits, never used the system. If I was to use the system then I'd only have to check the truck since my trailer has air to air installed. Might have to give this system a go here the next time I fill up off my break

Well the last time I used it there machine broke the tip of the tire valve stem off crushing it to the point where you can't get air in or out of it now on an inner drive tire. Wasn't a problem before I went into loves. And of course I have the aero wheel covers on the truck as well. So I'm gonna have to get the air line from the people who make the covers as kenworth doesn't carry that part.

Most loves I got to don't have enough personnel to work it or that know how. With the turnover those stores have it must be difficult to keep people trained

    I don't trust it, I don't use it, I don't have tire issues.
