    Mistakes happen. :)

    Either way, I think we all learned from this thread that UPS is a terrible company, and nobody should work for them. I'll be back in the morning, they just called me into work. Lol

    ABF is worse? I know the terminal by me last summer was offering full rate and putting guys on the seniority list right away after probation cuz they were hurting for drivers so bad.

    Much worse, at least at my terminal. The guys at other terminals were much happier, but here in Chicago, you may as well just forget about life outside of those green trucks.

    Ooof. Not good. I know ABF in the philly area is out of a stronger hall then UPSF, if such a thing even exists in teamsters anymore lol.

    Hoffa has done everything in his power to undermine the strength of the teamsters over the last couple decades.

    I sure hope his kids got some cushy jobs from his efforts. That would warm my heart.

    Teamsters def had their place. But the corruption and power got to the leaderships head. Then they got mobbed up. Then the greed really set in. Theres still def a place for unions, otherwise workers will just be steamrolled. But the leadership of teamsters is just too suspect.

    And after I started this thread and stirred all this up, I might be getting out of running a truck all together. Might have an opportunity in the construction trades union opening up for me. Maybe 25 years from now I'll look back on my time spent with ups with a smile.
