Ask ask and ask a lot, but once you ask the important part is to LISTEN.

Not really. I signed on to a load board that will help me find loads, I decided how much to pay my driver. Everything else I guess I will learn as I go along. Scary I know I go to bed like 3 in the morning thinking of how I am going to make it. I was laid off a month ago so this along with the help of my wife will be my bread and butter. -
If you are the truck owner and hire a driver why would you even consider asking him to pay for fuel? Part of being an owner is being able to afford and PAY the overhead costs which entitle you to PROFIT as opposed to WAGES. Think about how much fuel costs are and how much you pay your driver. I dont know about anyone else but i could burn up a weeks worth of wages in just a couple of fuel stops. You are not the kind of owner i would consider driving for.
