How Far is your commute everyday?

Grain hauler and I have parking at my house. some mornings I walk out to my truck 3 or 4 times by time I remember everything I left inside the house

 

The reason i asked is because after being otr almost 3 straight years, I might be taking on this new local gig which will require me to commute 56 miles each way every day, so i thought am i the only fool doing this? Lol!

That's going to make for a long long day if they have you working a lot of hours... If your doing linehaul and driving 400 or 500 miles a night that's really going to suck.

I commute 7 miles one way to work.

 

It's even harder to remember why you left it in the house...

 

I use to commute 70 miles one way. it gets old quick and it there is traffic you will hate it even more. but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do

I have carried my wallet out to the truck stuck it on the dash then spent an hour in the house looking for it....instances like this seem to happen more and more as I "get wiser" with age

 

I'm flattered, young man, but you must realize there's NOBODY like me...

 

P/D sort of. But still i know ill be worn out by time I get back to the yard.
