I suppose in much the same way those up on a high horse like to impose their "sensibilities" upon others. Takes one to know one.

An agressive driver in one mode tends to travel over into the rest of their lives.

The same idiots that feel compelled to tailgate and drive fast in a truck, will do so in their cars as well.

Those that feel compelled to have loud and obnoxious trucks, tend to have loud and obnoxious toys as well.

Those who tend to not care about people in one aspect of their lives don't suddenly care about others in other parts of their lives. While they may have tendencies to help out, their actions the majority of the time speaks for themselves.

I really don't care if you feel compelled to speed or not. Lately, my general reaction is to actually pull over, let the idiot pass on two lane roads and watch the sheriff pull them over 5 miles down the road. If you care to ride my bumper that close, I consider you enough of a safety hazard on the road, I'd rather you be in front of my and pulling away than pushing me and taking my comfort zone from behind me.

As the driver of YOUR truck, manage YOUR space.

as to the rest of it, sucks that it's also reality. If you've got problems with it, must strike a level of truth to it.

    the same ridiculous topic too...

"stay out of my way, I want to drive 75 mph...."

"stop whining about me drivin' 62 mph while I save $12,000 in fuel this year...."

the left lane homesteading, tailgatin', white elephant herd topics get tiring. Been that way since the beginning of time when fleets managed trucks and independent minded drivers didn't like to be told what to do.

Both sides of the story doing nothing but whining.....

I have a Dodge Ram with an aftermerket "loud" muffler

    I drive 55 - 62 in my semi

I keep the Ram under 70 (ever put fuel in a HEMI????) .... I still like it loud though so one really has nothing to do with the other

....and when I purchase my bike this summer I already plan on naming it "Window Rattler"
