how fast do you drive

My left leg has gotten huge by depressing the clutch. My right foot has gotten large also. I drive as fast as is safe. Takes a while to get there, this ain't a corvette.

well it depends...how fast does the truck go????

no seriously....i usually set the cruise 4 over the posted limit....when we had our W900L KW we ran about 75 or so....and still got 6.4....course fuel was $3.50 a gal then too....

 

Once a week I have a run that requires me to hammer down and keep the door shut. If I run 75+ and the weather is good (dry roads / no head wind), I'll get 5.0 mpg with 44,500 lbs of freight on. I make it with 8 minutes left on my 11 hours almost every time.

If it's not a hammer load, I try to run 60-65, which gets me about 6.0 fully loaded.

 

Wow that just took me back... And here I thought I was the only one that ever watched that movie

Don't haul cheap freight and you don't have to worry about going slow and saving 10 dash 4
