Just like in a car, 1mph over is to get you pulled over and start searching around for a bigger ticket. Also depends on the day the cop is having.
Florida cops usually allow a window of 3 mph or so with a few exceptions and speed traps such as in Waldo on 301. Lawtey, Hawthorne and Starke on 301 are bad, too. Best to be doing under the speed limit on all the little towns up through that area.

Last night I saw a Swiftee broke down on the side of the road. I started to stop and lend him a hand when I noticed he was broke down, he was running as fast as his truck would go. I drive 5 over. 75 means 80. I have a gps and I reset the max when a cop spots me. Your radar says I was going 82, my GPS says my top speed is 68. You must not have tuned your radar today. Shall we tune it now. No the law folks. No your rights and demand them. Cops, fireman, teachers, the three most overpaid underworked people on the public dime. And that includes Congressmen.
If a driver is in a tractor that has been governed to run at 65 or 70 MPH can he use that a a defense in a case where he/she gets a ticket for impeeding traffic on one of these 85 MPH interstates.
Which law, radar guns don't have to be tuned every day. States have req. on how often but none are daily or even monthly that I know of. Your gps isn't going to do anything for you in court. You can gladly try to pull the file that holds speeds if it even does. Your post shows you to be an ### when it comes to the law and you will get caught for it some day or cause a wreck from it. Your as bad as any 4 wheeler out there who speeds. If you drive the speed limit there is not problem. Whats 5 over really get you. 55 miles farther than the guy you passed. Congrats you get to fight for a spot at Truckstop 2 instead of Truckstop 1. Hooray you.
Maybe if they gave you a ticket for it you could. I can't really see it unless you got out of the right lane for no reason.
