    And you know this how?????

Considering the term "Freight Shaker" came about back before you was born, the Interstate's were completed and every truck on the road shook cause air ride wasn't even invented.....

I'm curious as to how your really know....

Heck I'd be willing to bet you've never even driven a truck without air ride, A/C or power steering....:biggrin_2559:

1967 Mack Dump truck. Shook the food down the chute every time I drove it. Had a 05 Columbia, Almost as bad as the 67. Went from that into a 379, Worlds better. Now in a Pro Star. Gutless, but smooth!

I can't even say the '74 Mack R-model was much better than the '85 Superliner.

It was louder as it had 6" straightpipes just behind the doors.

How people can stand them things for 10 hours is beyond me.

Because I've driven a freight liner that beat me to death? Obviously you're not the only person who had ever driven one.

It doesn't matter what extras it had. It still rode like crap. You're not somehow cooler because you're older. Surprise!

I don't think there isn't a truck made that will beat you to death if the suspension sucks or the load isn't set right.

I have had Pete's, KW's, Fords, Freights, Binders and Sterlings all abuse my body.

    Les2 Thanks this.

Using more fuel than a flushing toilet feels good.

kind of reminds me of the old story of the young bull and the old bull. young bull wanted to run to the cows and, well you know, but the old bull says lets walk down and, well you know. pete or kw you dont have to run to know your driving the best period!
