    If you're just talking about some generic 1.99 for a bottle, true. Tijuana Flats is a great place to try sauces with flavor. I try to get a bottle of their Santa habanero every year.

    never really liked tabasco's flavor much, but I keep a bottle of Cholula on the shelf at all times. tx pete has a good flavor, and one under the radar--Kroger's house brand hot and their jalapeno sauce. good stuff and soft on the billfold.
