The higher your RPM's, the faster your fan spins. The higher your manifold pressure, the harder your engine is working. Higher RPM's and lower manifold pressure on a hard pull will result in your engine running cooler. Cleaning out the radiator is a good idea once a year. Pull the condenser without disconnecting it, pull the charge air cooler, and blow them all out separately.

Thanks grizzly, I will try running the rpm up a bit higher and see how it goes. I had always thought the accert liked a lower rpm but I will give it a try and see how it goes. I appreciate your advice.

Recently purchased 2007 T800 w/ my first Accert; didn't care at all for the high temps, especially the oil temps. Many told me to "get used to it", that I was just accustomed to my old W900 w/ single turbo temps. One day I removed the mounting bolts from condenser, and charge air, moved them where I could get between them, and went to work. First used air, with homemade extended nozzle that had a slight bend. I next sprayed some AC condenser cleaner from home improvement box store, then LOTS of water, again with a homemade extended nozzle that had a slight bend- (those things make the job MUCH easier!).
At this time, I also put one of those stainless screens in my grill, to hopefully keep the bugs out. Did this in March, or April, IIRC, and even now with ambient temps quite a bit hotter, my truck's water temp averages about 7* cooler, and in a hard pull, it not only won't heat up as much, but will cool down to normal temp quicker. Need to compare my dash gauge against a heat gun for accuracy, but average water temp appears to be about 205*.
In all honesty, all the cleaning didn't seem to do a thing for the oil temps, 225* during a hard pull, is about the warmest. Would like to have cooler though.
