How is life on the road for the solo women drivers?

    I agree...

    In the 4 months as a solo driver, I've only found myself in a place where I thought something bad could happen once. It was up in Ohio, at a really small truck stop in a bad neighborhood. I do a lot of NE driving, throughout NY, NJ, CT, and have yet to feel unsafe.

    With that being said, I have a new appreciation of what female drivers go through on a daily basis after reading this thread.

    For the most part, if you stay around the bigger name truck stops, you'll be good. It's all about common sense.

    This drives me crazy. As soon as a female gets on the radio, for any reason, you have 2-3 guys that act like they've never talked to a female before. These are the same guys that don't have the balls to ask the girl out in person, like a normal dude.
