I get burned out about once a year and then i go out 2 weeks at a time for a while until I'm ready to go again. I find the less free time i give myself the easier it is to keep going.

After driving local for two years, I jumped at the chance to go OTR for 3 years I ran 11 western the on to 48 states for 7 years. I wanted to be on the road. I put my stuff in storage and gave up my apartment. When my truck went in the shop, I rented a motel until it was finished. I really want to see the the country. I did not enjoy working for Schneider regional.

I applied for the regional out of NC and was approved. From reading here seems like dedicated would be better.

Yes, regional van doesn't pay very well. They probably quoted you around 34cpm? Lots of live loads and unloads, east coast, and such that affects your miles per week.
@Chinatown might know some companies down that way, how long has it been since you have driven? -
I only applied to them for their refresher course and to get started. I have had my cdl for years but no experience. How is their family Dollar accounts or Gp accounts?Last edited: Feb 8, 2017

I don't recommend any dollar store account with any company.
