Normally I run TX,OK,KS,MO,AR,MS,LA. Regionally just means they keep you close enough to get you back home in 5days. Normally go out about 500 miles to start, then "zigzag" back towards Dallas over a few days.
How is Schneider regional?

Go home once every few months Regional. Now I'm confused.QuietStorm Thanks this.
-
What's confusing about that?
-
Sounds more like OTR.IAM KING, 27butterfly and QuietStorm Thank this.
-
Yep, except for the fact i don't go to all 48, so its regional. It's pretty basic, I choose when I get off the road, and I don't choose to do so very often. hometime has very little to do with the routes you run.
-
I was under the impression regional got you home every weekend.
-
If you want to, theres different "guaranteed" hometime packages. It's not like they're going to make you go home if you want to stay out and make them some more money like I do. I think you're having an issue grasping the concept of someone wanting to stay on the road for months at a time.
-
Actually, I'm not. Good to know one could choose to go out five come home for the weekend.
QuietStorm Thanks this. -
Regional only means you stay in a certain area. Hometime is different, and I'm not sure they offer a 5/2 hometime package you'll have to ask someone else. The lowest guaranteed hometime i saw was two weeks on 3 days off, and slip seater one week on one week off.

Does Schneider offer any additional pay if you reset on the road versus going home?
